As a CrossFit affiliate, we abide by its methods, principles and concepts via constantly varied, universally functional movements and performing them at high intensity. We utilize proven training methods which are measurable, observable and repeatable by recording data and improving overall fitness & wellness.
Our athletes consist of normal, everyday people from all walks of life. Our goal and priority every training session is to improve in every facet of fitness. We prepare our athletes for anything and everything. Our general physical preparation does not specialize in one aspect of fitness, HOWEVER, we do specialize in improving our goals and performance regardless of our respective specialties.

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical teams, firemen, military special operations units, champion martial artists and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. However, it is designed for universal adaptability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of age, gender or ability.

WHAT WE DO
We run, jump, climb, push, pull, lift, press, squat, carry, throw, and catch. We do so utilizing OUR ENTIRE BODY; not isolating a certain muscle group. Every workout involves compound, multi-joint exercises. From the explosive strength and power benefits of Olympic and Powerlifting to the balance/coordination/agility of rudimentary gymnastics, CFJAX incorporates only the methods, principles and concepts of what works.
Our programming requires minimum to no equipment but does require quality professional expertise on the part of our coaches. The sessions are constantly varied and the intensity and resistance is adapted to each individual’s current fitness level, regardless of conditioning and experience level.
We do not have hidden fees or agendas. The only requirement we have is that you commit to giving us your best effort every time you step foot in our gym. We commit to providing safe, efficient and effective elite fitness to those who find us an attractive alternative.
Our coaches are professionals in every sense of the word. You won't be shown how to use many 'circuit' machines; BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE MACHINES. Your body is all the machine you need.

HOW WE DO IT
By keeping the training and workouts constantly varied (if not random), using functional movement and raising the level of intensity, we improve in all 10 characteristics of fitness. No one knows what the workout will be until they walk into our gym. This keeps you from being bored and repeating the same routine day after day, week after week. Routine is our enemy.
However, without a sound diet and nutrition plan, no fitness program on Earth will be worth anything nor will you reach your true potential. The success our members achieve is 90% due to the way they eat. Diet and nutrition is our foundation in this hierarchy.
How can you begin a healthy diet without the hassle? In a nutshell, do the following in this order:
"Eat meats and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and NO SUGAR."
Begin with that, then research the Zone and Paleo diets and you will be on your way to elite wellness and fitness.

Our goal is performance. Frequency, round/circuit times, distance, work/rest ratio and intensity are all measured, observed and repeated. This information is your personal motivational tool for your next attempt when benchmark workouts are revisited.
Group training offers a high level of personal attention with the addition of positive peer influence. Natural camaraderie, competition and fun of sport yield competition and intensity that is unparalleled. You are motivated to push harder in a group dynamic. Private and semi-private training is available upon request.
